These features make it not only a marvel of technology, but a convenient way to access the things that you would normally hold on multiple devices. All of these features sound great. It's even better that they are in one device but is that it? No. In addition to all of these incredible features and the convenience, the iPhone's functionality is like nothing you have ever seen. Take a look at these features:

1. The iPhone has no buttons on it, so when you first hold it in your hands, you may not know how to use it. Once you touch the screen, the iPhone comes alive. The whole screen turns into big, colorful buttons that represent the dial pad. By touching on the appropriate numbers on the screen, the iPhone dials your call. Because the numbers a bigger than the traditional keys on a normal phone, dialing out on an iPhone is much easier.

2. Because the internet is such a huge part of today's life, the iPhone sure comes in handy when you need to access the internet when you're not near a computer. On the iPhone, you can view the real internet as opposed to pages formatted for mobile devices. You can easily zoom in out out and to see the different page elements closely. And because the screen on the iPhone is much bigger than a normal cell phone, it allows you to get a great visual of the page you're looking at.

3. Movies? No problem. You can download a ton of them from the iTunes store. Once loaded, you can watch them in full widescreen view all on your phone. Because the whole phone is the screen, your viewing pleasure is not limited to the typical screen size of your normal cell phone.

4. The iPhone also is also a music player. With the large hard drive on board it can hold thousands of your favorite songs by your favorite artists. Simple touch on the music section and choose the artist. Another click and you're ready to start listening.

So what are these goodies and conveniences going to cost you? Well, when the iPhone was first released, it was priced at $500-$600. After understanding the market, Apple quickly dropped the price on its 8 gigabyte version to a mere $399, making it more affordable to the masses. If this is a little much for your wallet, you can get a little better deal on a used iPhone but don't think your going to steal it. iPhones are so hot right now that even a used one is going to cost you over $300.

After you receive your shiny new toy, you'll also need a monthly plan with a cellular phone company. Right now, the iPhone has an exclusive with AT&T with plans starting at $59.99 per month. Finally, if you have a few extra dollars, you may want to get a few iphone extras and accessories. Cases, headsets, adapter cables and docking stations are popular add ons.

Now that you know a little more about the iPhone, go check one out to see for yourself how amazing it is. Although it will set you back a little money, don't forget you are really getting multiple devices in one.
