If you are like me you have received some of those Get Paid To Take Surveys ads in your snail mail or e-mail inbox. You know the ones that talk about making hundreds of dollars a day taking surveys. What you may not know is that most of those ads are bogus. They're scams.

I know because, several months ago in my ignorance I tried on of those online survey sites. They said all l had to do was spend a couple of minutes filling out some surveys and I'll be making hundreds of dollars a day...well I never made a dime.

Several weeks after that I happen to be watching the news and they had some high ranking officials of some major multi million dollar companies discussing their relationship with an online site that they work through to pay consumers good money for their opinion. I tried this site out and it is the only one I have ever seen that actually pays you just to take surveys. So from my own experience there are good paying online survey companies. You will need to do a little searching to find them. My resource box will give you the best one I have come accross. Making hundreds of dollars a day will prove to be long and difficult, but making several hundred a week is more realistic. Still, some extra spare time will be needed to accomplish this.

As I mentioned earlier survey companies don't all pay the same way. Some pay with points that you accumulate for money or gifts. You will have to fill out a number of surveys to accumulate enough points to get money or a prize. The time spent on filling out surveys can range from a few minutes to between fifteen or twenty minutes for the longer ones.

Remember when you locate a source that has a lists of legitimate online surveys, you will need to take some time to sign up with each company. Then simply wait for the company to send you offers that match you. It is safe to say you will not qualify for every survey. There are different factors that come into play when they choose a survey for you.

Remember the more companies you sign up with, the more surveys you will get, and the more money you will make. If you don't fit the description of who they are looking for you won't get an offer. Then again you may get offers that pay you cash money straight out for the surveys you complete. It may not be very much per survey but you get immediate cash.

If you are in the healthcare or medical field, it is possible that you will get more money for specialized online surveys. If you have a particular medical condition like high blood pressure, you can usually get more per online survey that you complete.

You will find that some companies will pay more for surveys if you use a certain brand of cell phone, or you use a certain brand of computer, or you shop at a certain store etc, etc,.
