Or you can simply type the words "free keyword tools" in any search engine and use those provided. When using these keyword tools simply type in the name of the product you are selling. Then start from the "very bottom" analyzing the keywords that best describe your product.

By going to this website: http://www.shorturl.com and paying only $1.88 for the entire year; your affiliate website can look like this: Apples.2fortune.com this looks more professional to your prospects.

Now that you have a nice looking affiliate link and a list of valuable "Long tail keywords" let's find a better traffic vehicle to use. And guess what this vehicle is? It's called a web log better known as a blog. You can get one free at www.blogger.com or WordPress.com.

I don't have time to explain the awesome advantages of using a Web blog instead of a website promote your affiliate products. The RSS feed advantages are tremendous and you can learn more at whatever Web blog site you choose to join above.

The RSS feed is already installed so you don't have to worry about that, just enjoy promoting your product. And no this one thing,(search engines love RSS feed) Now when promoting your affiliate website with your new Web blog use your primary and secondary and long tail keywords to promote your affiliate website.

Remember to target your longtailed keywords beginning at the BOTTOM and working your way to the top using your keyword search tools. In the above example your primary keyword was apples; which is to competitive even though it identifies your product. "Candy apples" your secondary keyword is still to competitive in the beginning. To increase online traffic you must use longtail keywords which are less competitive in the beginning.

Longtail keywords are keyword phrases with 3 or more words used to describe a search. Like "small green apples." Your audience is smaller but your competitive ability is far greater. Free traffic is your goal.

In your blog, describe your affiliate product using your longtail keywords. You will have the competitive edge to increase online traffic using a Web blog, a .com website URL, and long tail keywords.
