Tattoo Design Renaissance

 Add2Netvouz
If your interested in tattoo design and you live in a town of over forty thousand people, more than likely you have a choice of at least three tattoo shops to pick from. Because of the rising interest in body art and the human need to stand-out, just a little from the sea of humanity, the numbers of tattoo parlors opening has skyrocketed. But there is a definite difference between just any shop and a truly great shop.

Japan's history of tattooing goes back to 10000 B.C.E. to 300 B.C.E. (Before the Common Era). It was used for healing, identifying a soldier should he perish on the battlefield and be stripped of his armor and even to identify rites of passage for certain tribes. Perhaps the most familiar of Japanese body art is associated with the organized crime group the Yakuza. Similar to the Italian Mafia, the Yakuza has long been associated with the less than desirable elements of society. Anything from illegal gambling to racketeering is within its grasp.

One of the benefits of Henna is that it is a natural product. As such there is a great leeway for experimentation in design. Traditional designs do not have to be used and there are many kits available that include design patterns. The henna tattoo removal is simply the skin replenishing the cells and forcing the dye out of the body.

There are tattoo studios that do offer permanent designs that resemble the henna tattoo. These tattoos are put into place with the typical tattoo machines but use a red dye that will remain permanent. A note of caution concerning henna is the use of a product labeled as "black henna" or an indigo. Natural henna does not come in dark shades.

Whereas in many cultures tattooing was solely reserved for warriors, the Egyptians practiced the art tattoo for women in service to the Gods and Goddesses. This spirituality is one of the more common reasons for tattooing. They believed that by paying homage with the body, it assured the wearer a more devoted retribution from their chosen deity and a greater chance for a rewarding afterlife.

The cost of an original tattoo can be expensive, but not blending into the crowd with the same tattoo as five other people in the room more than makes up for it. By getting your ink done at one of the better places you'll get superior craftsmanship and more help if something is not to your satisfaction. You will always get what you pay for, if you don't want to pay then you will not get superior craftsmanship.

The dark colors are actually made by combining henna with a chemical. There can be very harsh side effects such as skin blistering. As with any product, even a natural one such as henna, there can be allergic reactions. This is particularly true if the individual has a rare genetic condition called a G6PD deficiency. In large doses the dye molecule in henna can be fatal. If it is unknown whether or not henna will cause an allergic reaction it is best to do a small skin test.

A properly applied henna tattoo design is a thing of great beauty and intricacy. The delicate lines and swirls have long been a fascination upon the female's skin. Thanks to more and more celebrities embracing Eastern culture, the influence has reached far into Western ideas and images of exotic beauty and continues to enjoy a rise in popularity.
