The meaning of skid lid is as follows: crash helmet. This is a helmet that is worn by people that ride either motorcycles or bicycles. It is always the smart thing to do to wear your helmet to act as a shield to your head. No matter what you name them either helmet or skid lid they come is so many kinds and with different features. Most of all slip the helmet on and take off down the road.
